Santiago Roel Santos is the founder and CEO of Inversion. He is among the most active investors in crypto, having backed over 150 startups and many industry leaders over the past decade. Previously, Santiago was a Partner at ParaFi Capital, an institutional blockchain investor managing over $2 billion. He also held investment roles at Sageview Capital, a $2 billion growth equity firm focused on software and tech-enabled businesses, and at JP Morgan’s Investment Banking Financial Sponsors Group. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Boston University.

Giselle Sedano is General Counsel at Inversion. Prior to joining Inversion, she was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis, where she represented and counseled clients in complex, high-stakes, multi-jurisdictional government actions, internal investigations, congressional inquiries, and legal and reputational crises. She also advised global private equity and investment firms on cross-border transactional and compliance matters, focusing on anti-corruption, sanctions, anti-money laundering, and other international regulatory risks across diverse industries. Previously, Giselle served as a compliance officer at Fortress Investment Group. She holds a B.A. from Cornell University and a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law.

George Calle is Head of Research at Inversion. He has spent his career creating frameworks to assess businesses and technologies at the intersection of financial services and crypto. Previously, George was Head of Research & Data at The Block, where he led the largest independent research team in crypto, developed an investment diligence practice, and helped guide the company through its $70 million sale. He started his career in research and corporate development roles at R3, a consortium of financial institutions and regulators exploring blockchains. He holds a B.A. in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Alvaro Gornes is a Private Equity Associate at Inversion Capital. Prior to joining Inversion in 2025, he worked at Ares Management in the European Special Opportunities Fund, investing across the entire capital structure. Alvaro started his career in the Investment Banking Consumer & Retail Division at Morgan Stanley. He holds a B.S. in Economics from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

Lindsay Gaziano is an Operations Associate at Inversion. Prior to joining Inversion in 2025, she specialized in talent acquisition within the crypto industry. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Babson College.

Mateo Moya is a Market Analyst Intern at Inversion, where he focuses on fintech and telecom opportunities in Mexico. Prior to joining Inversion in 2024, he gained diverse experience at Proficio Capital Partners, PINFRA, Aktiva Capital, and Accuvest Financial, building a strong foundation across private equity and investment research. He is an incoming 2026 Summer Analyst at J.P. Morgan Private Bank in New York and a junior at The George Washington University, pursuing a B.S. in Finance and Information Systems.

Lucas Botbol Agusti is a Market Analyst Intern at Inversion, where he focuses on fintech and telecom opportunities across LATAM. He is an executive member of the Texas Blockchain Club and has contributed to multiple hackathons, earning over $3,000 in winnings. He is a sophomore at The University of Texas Austin, pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science.

Kristian Fischer is an Engineering and Research Intern at Inversion, where he focuses on L1 blockchain development and infrastructure research. Before joining Inversion, he worked at early-stage startups building AI systems and full-stack software products, gaining experience across applied machine learning and software engineering. Kristian is a senior at the University of Florida, pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science and a M.S. in Finance.
